About Beat Replacement
This modern jazz fusion group led by the UK’s rising drummer talent, drummer Jamie Murray and features saxophonist Zhenya Strigalev ,as well as TELE-PORT! who play their first public performance.

With a solid groove style yet an open minded approach to free experimentation, Jamie and his all star band bring a heavy amount of fire and intensity to each performance- with Zhenya Strigalev 'exploring and pushing the limits of the Alto Saxophone', David Preston playing guitar 'like a man possessed', Tomasz Bura 'injecting heartfelt beauty and colourful soundscapes' and Kevin Glasgow filling the background air 'like a sonic boom'.

Beat Replacement have quickly earned respect as one of the UK’s most exciting new bands with their forward-thinking approach & exhilarating live show.

Tele-Port! is a brand new project and this is their first public performance. It consists of leading jazz voices of Luxembourg, bassist Pol Belardi, keyboardist Jérôme Klein and drummer Jeff Herr plus "always looking for adventures" saxophonist Zhenya Strigalev. They will play all new original music composed especially for this group.

All musicians of this double bill have a wide range of experience and have played in most major venues and Festivals in Europe and overseas. Among their collaborators on stage and studio are Adam Rogers, Ambrose Akinmusire, Melody Gardot, Shlomo, Eric Harland, Aaron Parks, Joe Locke, Magik Malik to name a few.
