To mark the start of 2019, Grow is focusing on a series of events to discuss the ideas of self-organising and its role in society.
Capitalism continues to grow bigger and stronger every day seemingly ignorant in the face of limits to growth and refusing to acknowledge resource depletion or real sustainability. Living in the belly of the beast we know this story too well! However, we are big believers in changing that narrative.
So what are we going to do about it?
Well, that's why we have organised a series of free events, which is part of a week-long series called Grow Change! This series is just the start, and we hope that over the rest of the year and beyond we can build on this action collectively...
Every evening, there will be a different theme: from ethical economy; action on climate change; community resilience + gentrication, wellbeing and alternative education. Culminating in a skill-sharing on Saturday afternoon, turning into a party social until late.
Details announced on the Facebook event and in this events section.

The resulting organization is wholly decentralized, distributed over all the components of the system. As such, the organization is typically robust and able to survive or self-repair substantial perturbation. Chaos theory discusses self-organization in terms of islands of predictability in a sea of chaotic unpredictability'
