Come Nice up the dance on May 11th at Grow in Hackney wick. Bring a dollar for your juice and a head to let loose. Arm up with your strongest garms and nice up the dance with maximum flex. Look reem for your team, be god to your squad. Get one in each hand and you nod, wind, shake and bounce to the ounce.

SUGO (Lorenzo) of NTS fame and general legend of legends will provide the genre spanning flavours alongside Sofia B, a brilliantly soulful, groove laden selector hailing from Uruguay, expect complete loss of hip control.

Up next and fully loaded for the power hour of Afro beat and African disco dynamite is Boodnbone AKA Charlie French. Fresh back from running the not for profit festival 'Meet Me There Weekender' in Ghana, his energy, sounds and that golden grin will have you smiling from ear to ear right back at him.

Lastly, to set you up for an afters of a lifetime, Sheggles AKA Shegwin Van Der Larfs AKA Shed of the notorious Nang Tunes will deliver copious amounts of heat, literally and metaphorically. This guy loves it and so will you.

About Grow, Hackney
Grow is an independent bar, kitchen and creative space carved out of an old sausage factory by the River Lea in Hackney Wick. It is run as an experiment in ethical and sustainable business and works in partnership with local artists, musicians, DJ's and community groups. Every week we host events, ranging from live jazz and blues, open deck reggae, open mic, performance art to DJ collectives and more. We offer a range of organic and craft drinks from the inside and outdoor bar and from the kitchen, Slow Fire London, serves a seasonal menu which has been freshly prepared in the canal side kitchen.

Grow exists for music, art, food, conversation, community and belonging. Everyone is welcome.
