Follow the drum beat! We are back with Bambas Festival 2019 Launch Party // FREE ENTRY

We kick off the weekend in London celebrating Brazilian arts and culture with a welcome party! World class Brazilian grooves by Pedro D-Lita + live music by Dendê Nation - London Samba-Reggae - spreading the vibe from Salvador, Bahia in the UK with a London twist.

About Bambas Festival 2019
It is the first comprehensive Brazilian Movement & Music Festival in London bringing together master dance teachers, and master musicians to highlight the vastness of Brazilian culture. A platform for established artists to deliver the highest quality of dance and sound, within and for, multicultural Britain. Celebrating Brazil in Britain - a transformative 2-day intensive 10 varied dance and drumming workshops with local, national, and international master teachers, live percussion, nourishing refreshments and a social celebration.

About Pedro D-Lita
Producer, brazilian, selecta (dj set) and director of the label B•Mundo (Music Art Concept). Co-founder of Stereo Maracanã group with which he participated in many festivals in Brazil and Europe: Humaita pra Peixe (RJ-2003), Abril Pro Rock (PE-2003), Popkomm (2008) in Berlin, and with which he performed in various concert halls in Paris, London, Brussels and Amsterdam (2007 and 2008). Launching a cd "Combatente" under the label "Maianga" YB mixed in São Paulo. Mastering directed by Tom Coyne - Sterling Sound Studio in NYParticipation in British music compilations Brazilian, "Brazilian Beats" and "Essential Brazilian Flavas".

About Dendê Nation - London Samba-Reggae
Dendê Nation is a bloco lead by Mac Dende, connecting to the Samba-Reggae movement to form an energetic community of drummers with respect for Brazilian culture.

About Grow, Hackney
Grow is an independent bar, kitchen and creative space carved out of an old sausage factory by the River Lea in Hackney Wick. It is run as an experiment in ethical and sustainable business and works in partnership with local artists, musicians, DJ's and community groups. Every week we host events, ranging from live jazz and blues, open deck reggae, open mic, performance art to DJ collectives and more. We offer a range of organic and craft drinks from the inside and outdoor bar and from the kitchen, Slow Fire London, serves a seasonal menu which has been freshly prepared in the canal side kitchen.
