GROW REBELLION // XR FUNDRAISER

Leading up to the big Hackney uprising in July, Extinction Rebellion are looking to get more rebels on board of our pink ship! Join us for an all-day festival of live music, outreach, block printing and workshops.

This event is free and open to all members of the public. If you're interested in joining Extinction Rebellion London we will have team members ready to help you get involved.

Workshops will run from 2pm onwards. Families welcome until 7pm. Live music will start at 6pm. Don't miss out on our up-and-coming local bands!

Alice Callari - 6pm
A singer/songwriter from Camden Town. Passionate about music since a young age, Alice has been pursuing her music career the last few years. Alice's music is influenced by the soul and blues sound.

Super Full Moon - 6:30
Songs from the heart. Burning bright in the night sky... floating mostly over London. Super Full Moon is the banner under which British composer / producer Michael Palmer presents his songs to the world with the help of some of London's finest musicians.

Bamboo Smoke - 7:30
Train rides, late nights, salty tears, makeshift whispers, smoky tones, hazy sounds... Bamboo Smoke make music under the moon, inspired by dreams scrawled in the morning, exploring vulnerability, darkness and light. This being human.

Smiley & The Underclass - 9pm
Punky reggae noise from London via Japan, the UK and the Caribbean. Formed in a caravan below a motorway in 2014, they quickly captured the hearts of the underground scene with their chaotic and incendiary live shows put together in squats and disused venues across the capital.

Alissa Skorik - 10pm
Alissa’s performance showcases the traditional Indigenous Style Flute and its musical diversity. In her act, Alissa performs contemporary original pieces inspired by traditional indigenous music.

DJ Rez (Alberto Rettore) - 10:30
Dj and Producer from Italy based in London. Disco-House and Techno. https://soundcloud.com/alberto-rettore

Liba Ravindran - between sets
A writer, predominantly of poetry and philosophy, who is keen to be free in understanding the possibilities of reality. The themes covered are surreally psychedelic in content and ironically quixotical in form with a focus on the romantic themes of dreams, nature and love.
